QUARIAN
Names: Quarian names begin with the first name, followed by an apostrophe and their family name. If a quarian has not completed their pilgrimage, their title will be nar birth ship. If a quarian has completed their pilgrimage, their title with be vas chosen ship. (I.E. Tali'Zorah nar Rayya, Tali'Zorah vas Neema)
Gender: There is no significant gender divide in quarian society.
Lifespan: Quarians can live up to 150 years old, though it is rare for a quarian to ever reach such a milestone because of how lethal infections are for them.
Classes: Engineer, Infiltrator, Soldier Quarians are technological experts who have kept old salvaged ships running for hundreds of years after their exile from their homeworld by their own AI creations. Quarians keep themselves well-defended from pirate attacks by employing the use of Migrant Fleet marines, soldiers tasked with naval-infantry and police operations. Because of limited Element Zero resources, quarian biotics are pretty much unheard of.
Appearance: Quarians are generally shorter and more slender than humans. Because of their weak immune systems, quarians wear enviro-suits, and cannot leave them without taking several supplements and boosters in order to improve their immune system first. Underneath the suits, quarians are very similar to humans, having a human-like face and hair. They also have three thick fingers on both hands which include a thumb, an index finger, and a long finger, similar to the middle fingers for humans, as well as three toes on each foot, and their lower legs are bowed back significantly.
Things to Note: Quarians were exiled from their homeworld Rannoch nearly 300 years ago after their synthetic creations, the geth, rebelled against them. They are now wanderers who live aboard their Migrant Fleet. This close environment has caused them to become very community-oriented, and loyalty, cooperation, and trust are important traits for their kind. It is important to note that the pilgrimage is a very important rite of passage for quarians: quarians are not considered adults until they return from their pilgrimage to prove that they will not be a burden to the fleet. It should also be noted that quarians have weak immune systems and are dextro amino acid based life forms, meaning they cannot share food with anyone except turians.
